Default Dry ice for an intercooler?..

I was at the publix in New tampa doin some grocery shopping when i come by this freezer with dry ice in it. Iwas like "SWEET!". and it's cheap too. a block about the size of a brick for a little over a dollar.

As i was filling my entire apt with fog i was wondering if it would be ok to strap this brick to my intercoolers to get some mad spool up action. This shit is REALLY cold, it froze a part of my seat solid when i took the groceries out of the car.

The only reason i was wondering if it would be ok is because i did an experement with a thin piece of metal and sat it on the ice for about 10 minutes. It froze the metal so solid i was able to snap it almost like hard plastic.. i wouldnt want that to happen to the core. but then again they have a heat source running behind the metal so it may not freeze. oh well, any ideas?..

It would break your IC in a heart beat.

Forget the towel also, it would freeze the towel, break the towel, then break your IC.

The towel has no insulating value, like styofoam does.

but keep comming up with ideas, one of then will work eventually

I have heard the "N-tercooler" is a waste of money. When I get done with my setup I am going to see how much I can get one for and see if it's really worth it.

intercooler chillers pose a problem for tuning cause the cool down the charge very quickly which in turn causes leaning out, they work, but they are very difficult to tune for
