Insurance question
I have gotten into two rear end at fault accidents, but through some dumb luck, have never got a ticket written. They were both reported to my parent's insurance company though. btw, this was in new jersey, and i go to school in gainesville now. If i bought and insured a car in gainesville, with a florida lisence, no tickets, no points, what are the odds the insurance company will find out i got into two accidents? They were in my parents cars, and i was just on their insurance as a lisenced driver living in their house. Just curious, because i got quoted for a new mazda6 at 4k a year (full coverage) in gainesville. I don't even want to think about how much it would cost in NJ.

i work for progressive insurance. insurance companies pull two reports on you. your MVR(Motor Vehicle Report) from the state and they pull a CLUE report. the clue report pulls your past insurnance claims. so yes, your new insurance company will see you had two at fault accidents in another state with another insurance company.
doesnt matter whos insurance, whos car, wheather you got a ticket or not. if the insurnace company found you at fault, it should follow you for the next three years on your insurnace no matter what insurance company you go with now.
you may get lucky though. alot of times companies report to clue wrong.

You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it.
