lol ! `10 yr old vette can be had in great shape for 10-15k , I had a chance at one (94) for 10 k with 42k on it, very clean. Just didnt want two car payments at the time. Humm 10 k plus 12 for mods, I think I'd go this way!

no, jake, the SL's are conv. that have a hard top that you can put on for winters and shit. The rag top totally stores in the trunk then u put on the hard top.

sl55 has a folding hardtop.
