Default Tires and odometer

I know having a different overall diameter between of rim/tire from stock with throw off your speedometer but does it also throw off your odometer?

the speedo will read faster w/ smaller tires, cause they have to spin more than a taller tire to cover the same distance therefor the odo will also rack up more mileage. I think.

is there any way to recalibrate the odo so it reads correctly?

depends on your car. some cars (mostly older domestics) you can just change the gear on the end of speedo cable. not sure about your car never saw one. but there are some shops around that recalibrate speedo's, I think, there were in N.Y. anyway, and I think I remember seeing them down here. call around I'm sure you will find something

i wouldent worry about it, its not like your putting some radicly smaller tires on it. your speedo is accually very inacurate anyhow and usually in the slower then real direction so your probably more accurate now. are you worried about miles on the car? i really hope not, its pointless to worry about miles now considering the mods you have done.

I know the offroad truck guys put on swampers and get way slower speedos, they will read 40 when going 60.
you couldnet be changing yours more then 1-2 mph at 60.
