Default My first all motor track times

Thats right...its never really been to the track with the intent to run all motor. But with a few new changes I decided to see what it would do. Drove to BMP and pulled in...took a few things out of the car and immediately staged. Dumped the clutch at 4000 rpm and the car just bogged on the ET streets to a sorry high 1.7 sixty foot. Ran a 11.7 at 119.2 granny shifting.

I let the car cool down a little and lowered the tire PSI to 17. Also put the MAFT on to lean it out a bit since its on a nitrous tune. 6% lean with the MAFT usually nets me about 10-15 hp on the dyno. I went 2% lean to start. Staged, did a burnout, but was informed later I had one wheel peel on the burnout. I wasnt centered in the waterbox. Oh well...launched at 5000 and spun my ass off to a low 1.7 sixty foot. This time I ran an 11.5 at 119.8 still throttle off up shifting. Not too bad!

Longer cooldown and the sun was going down. Lower tire pressure to 16 psi. Lean the MAFT too 4% lean. Did a great burnout...looking for a high 1.5 sixty this time with a 6000 rpm launch and the guy at the line stops me and sais my tire is bad,,,makes me pull off the line

Went back to where I was parked and looked at the tire. It wasnt completely seated...just by a hair. Oh well.

ALl in all it wasnt a bad first outing. I believe it has an 11.3 @ 120+ as it sits. And when I get a gear and a few tweaks, shave off another few tenths. Goal is 11.0 at 122-123.

Then hit the 250 shot dual stage

Well Done!

Now get the "Bad Tire" fixed and go back.
