Sucks watching your car idling and another car backing into it and theres nothing u can do about it.

I was changing the brakes on a friends car and for some reason they did not work for the first 3 seconds..... and he threw his car in park and it just clicked as his car rolled back...
just paint damage and a fog light... but im going to go cry now

I've had a similar experience. One time my car wouldn't start after school let out. I had a friend and a neighbor in the car. Called another friend to help get it started, he rode over with his gf in her mkIII supra turbo. We tried to push start it with my neighbor (female) in the car. We had a short space to work with and she had no clue, the first try was unsuccessful. We started pushing it back into place to try again, but the car starting rolling too fast. We shouted at her to step on the brake, pull the ebrake, something, but she was an auto-only kinda person and got confused about which pedal to stomp. My car ended up ramming the back left of the supra with it's back right, I got two nice deep scratch/dents and the supra got the paint rubbed off of a good bit of the back corner. It sucked seeing my car rolling at 3 mph towards another car, but with too much momentum for the three of us to pull it to a stop .

 

damn well last week i was backing out of my driveway and my moms friends car was on the other side of the streetso im backing up (note: that it was early in the morning and i was extremely tired) so i think to my self " wasnt thee a car behind me??" then i hear the awful sound of metal crushing. well im laughing and my friends going nuts cuz she think her bf will kill her.
turns out my car recieved minor scratches(minor compared to the crappiness of my car) and her got a dent the size of a melon on the fender, nothing mr. fixit cant repair.

Did you do a brake test before you rolled it out? But even then you should still have some grab. ?? werd. Did you figure out what happend or went wrong?

Sounds like ya all forgot to pump up the brakes before throwing the car in gear.
