I've stalled my Prelude when I had it when I missed a shift. Didn't push the clutch enough, or just hesitated too much shifting, the engine dropped revs, and I was soon coasting down Busch Blvd. Had idling problems.

I've spun the tires plenty...chirped, spun, missed shifts...yeah done that all getting on the highway. No big deal. Just stay calm, throw it in neutral, then shift again.

I've never had a real problem with merging, with or without the aforementioned problems. Never stalled getting on the interstate though.
