Since my car decided to loose the critical starter ring gear teeth that I need to electrically start my car I deposited it at Reeves this monday.

Since I got to pull the motor to change the ring gear I am taking this as a sign to rebuild the 930 before something worse happens.

Let the fun begin.

I am planning to go in this saturday to drop the motor and break it down. That way I can slowly work on all the parts and pieces as money and time allows.

Since the car will be on a lift and the motor is coming out I may need a spotter to be there with me while I am working on the car. I may also need a hand with splitting the tranny from the engine once it is out.

Good Luck with it. I remember you mentioning sodium filled hollow valves and some other things you wanted to use in your rebuild so I imagine that is going to take all of your disposable income for the next little bit. You can always eat all you meals at the Salvation Army soup kitchen that should free up a little more cash for you.
