i would go with the maxima. i know from having one they will run forever. i actually just sold my '98 maxima se w/ 60k sunroof, and 18in rims for $7,000

So they are reliable then? What are some good places to have one checked out that will actuall know about the 5 cylinder(in tampa/brandon)?

Oh and I forgot to mention the ES300, I have been looking at those too. Thanks for the help.

Oh and Bone...DAMN! What the hell happened?

dont buy a millenia, and id look at older gs300/400.

Just wondering why you say not to get a millenia? I've heard they are very reliable, but a bitch to work on. To me any FWD 6 cylinder is going to be a pain to service though pretty much.

Oh and on the older GS300s...I like them, but I like the look of the ES300s better. More sleek to me at least.

ive seen alot of problems with the millenia/929/626, but you might get lucky.

Not a big fan of the maximas myself. My dad bought a new one in 98 and it had it's share of problems in the FIRST YEAR. How's a starter go bad before 10k miles?

The TL's are nice, if you could find a 3.2 in your price range, that would be pimp. If not, the 2.5's aren't bad if you're not looking to go fast.

If you like the es300's so much, why not just get a camry v6? Same friggin thing. I think they're cheaper too.

get a sc300..... they got the 2jz ge block same as the non turbo supras.... :\
