Default Need xdrilled rotors turned

My zimmerman Xdrilled rotors are warped--- steering oscillates under braking.

Looking for a good shop in Tampa to get them turned while I wait. Any recommendations?

Not to comfortable taking it to NAPA.

ahhh, we all know cross drilled rotors are too high tech for the lowly NAPA worker to comprehend...get a grip beoch...they're done by machine, not by hand

I was told that turning your rotors was a bad thing cause it takes them out of spec. I know there is a MIN. and a MAX. what do some of you think?

you have to turn them if they get warped. they're usually good for about 2-3 turns. we're not talking about taking inches off or anything, just making it even

accually cross drilleds can and will wear out the bit faster, even break it. but thats operator error. it can be done with out a problem

accuallly it is done somewhat by hand. yes a machine does the accuall cutting but a person sets the blade level, with cross drilleds they have to set it a little higher then normal so it doent cut too deep.

but napa has a good machine shop better then most. they get some of the high proformace boat work from some of the local race boat and yacht builders. doing rotors is a joke compared the stuff they do.
