Well yesterday new 3 inch downpipe arrived, holy crap what a pain in the ass, used up 6 saw zawl blades..damn those things are expensive. First pic is stock DP in place, you can see starts of the cuts.

The cut I had to make to drop it all down through the firewall...

 

All ready for the new one...except for cleanup, the black in the turbo is not oil, it is soot.

 

looking up from floor, you can barely see the exit of the turbo way up at the top, now you see why the top of DP had to be cut to be removed.

 

weee!!! Update...considerably louder inside the cab, and the turbo whistle is louder than I ever imagined possible, even at just 10 psi it sounds like a bloody airliner on takeoff roll, at full boost it is deafening outside the truck..haha, and driving normal, it emits a very loud steady whistle that can be heard even when no buildings are on the road to bounce the sound..well worth the pain in the ass. Cost, 118 bucks, and more importantly will allow me to turn the wick up to about 300 hp and 600 ft lbs..give or take. (max for stock injectors)
