Alright, I'm about tired of meeting people that race all around Lakeland, yet there's still no meets for all of us to hangout and BS about cars. Everyone I meet says the same thing...Lakeland sux, there's no racers here blah blah. Yes it does suck cause we need to set something up and bring back a hang out in town. So how about next friday, the 28th, we'll meet at Best Buy on 98. I'm gonna tell everyone I know that races around here, and anyone that I run into around town during the next week...I WILL BE THERE, let's see how many of the other people that say they want a hangout in town REALLY want a hang out. Post if you'll be there. If we can get some people out there for a couple friday nights it'll grow as people pass by and see us there all the time.

I'll be there around 8-9 in a 97 Camaro SS, white with orange stripes, you won't miss it.

 

i was out in lakeland last week and shocked to find so many people out there that where into cars. granted like 99% rice,
there where a lot of mullets as well. but way more activity then ive ever seen in tampa. BTW i was over near that best buy on 98 when i knoticed all the activity.

 

lakeland is all show no go for the import side......i seen a few quick domestic cars but no imports ..........i live about 5 minuets from the lakeland drag but i never go there cause it sucks....damn i miss bradenton!!!!

 

yep, there's plenty of show here. there's some go too, but they just ride around, we need to get together so get out to Best Buy friday night and maybe we can start somethin'.

 

all the real go in lakeland is stock looking vehicles usually.

 

i wouldent call what i saw show, nore serious proformance for the imports. i would just call it rice. lots of bull shit neon, hood lights. ect ect.

as for the domestics i saw a few cars out there that i had respect for. and then a lot that want to be the ones i had repect for.

i wont be in lakeland for a few weeks. busy up at school here and going to battle of the imports on sunday.

i organized meets next to books a million about 2 years ago, they got big until there was a big bust on moore road or whatever road it is up there, and people stopped coming out. if there gets to be a nother meet ill come home one weekend to check it out, seems half the people are driving different cars now. ill be real nonchalant about my showing up, i wont make a big appearance in my car or anything til it gets finished in the fall likely. then ill be likely to hand out sleeper style beatings on the ricers. the stock exhaust shall fool everyone.
