In the days of the original Fast and Furious, we met in Parking garages......
In the days of the original Fast and Furious, (about 13 years ago) we met in Parking garages......
For a couple years we took over the top 6 floors of a parking garage in Jacksonville Florida. with permission
and sponsorship of Toyota, Lexus, and Scion.....The show was called Sibling Rivalry.........
Toyota was smart enough to invite ALL cars. Other car folks saw the fun
the siblings of Toyota were having and bought Toyotas for themselves.
On the Top floor we were fed by Panda Express, There were displays from SCCA,
and companies who sold Toyota engine conversion kits and performance equipment.
It was a great show.....6 floors of cars of ALL kinds.
It was part of Toyota's grass roots marketing. It sold cars.

The last of the grass roots car shows was at The Tampa Fair Grounds and was Named Heroes and Villains.
Batman, Superman, the Joker and bunches of Marvel comic characters. were there. I still have the pictures
on my camera chip. I have two videos of some of those shows. It was a great car show.
People came from all over the state and some outside Florida.
Cars were parked outside the building. It was huge. We filled the parking lot.
There was a DJ booth in the center of the biggest exhibit hall.
There were 6 food stations around the edges with all different kinds of food.
If only we had known that it would be the last of the Toyota Grass Roots shows
At least I still have the pictures and the memories....
