Are you sure the cam timing and belt are lined up right?

If the cams are correctly installed then it must be the distributor timing.

Do you have a timing light to check it with?

If all you changed is the cams, it must be the cam timming. Can you put LS cams in worng? intake and exhaust swaped?

hmmmmm.... Timing. You need to not only make sure that the cams gears are spaced correctly, but that you are also @ TDC.

With the Crank @ TDC, make sure both cams gears are set correctly. The cam gears have the 2 "dots" @ the 90 and 180 degree mark, these must be level with the Head.

Sounds like you are 2-3 teeth off. (on either one or both cams)

timing is ok. we made sure about that last night. the camshafts are labeled IN and EX. so we didnt go wrong there. could it be too much over lap and loss of compression or what.

no i dont have a timing light. could someone come over and help get it started tonight
