First and lasts. Big wins. Notable provenance. These three things will turn a good example into a great example, and this Saleen S7-R has it all.



This is the final Saleen S7-R built, one of 23 made, and one of four constructed by Oreca. It’s the only example rehomologated by Oreca for the 2010 season. Those upgrades included revised aero, Cerobear ceramic hub carriers, Öhlins dampers and an uprated Elan Technologies V8.



The result? Domination. Wins at Paul Ricard, Portimão, Hungaroring, Silverstone and Le Mans. It’s also worth noting that this Saleen came out of the Larbre Compétition stable. While not a big name here in the U.S., Larbre Compétition has five class wins to its name at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and one of those came with this Saleen S7-R.
