i have thought about doing a supercharger/turbo. But in my opinion it is just not worth the $$$$$ I mean a turbo kit from AA is like 11k for 380 crank hp @ 8.5 psi. rms makes a supercharger kit and for 5.5k you get 348 crank hp. I know their are some real fast(white) turbo m3s around but, Shit all that $$$ to make a car run high 12's(mid-low 13s with s/c), And on top of that have to worry about reliability(not like i dont worry already), and imagine what an m3 engine rebuild would cost, OMG!!!!! The replacement gearbox was a 6-7K $$ job. Imagine a 600 rwhp 3200 pound m3 .plus, I bet i could sell my engine/ tranny for 5k(to offset the cost). Your right greg, i bet it would be a huge pain. I think we might even have to get the SRQ boys to come north with their welding equipment and zip ties to help .

Gawd, you could sell the M3 motor/tranny and probably come out cash ahead with the right buyer. I knew they were expensive, but had no idea as to how expensive the motors/trannys really are.
