Anyone here tried plasti dip on their vehicle ? If you have did you use apply it yourself or did you have some shop do it?? Got any pics and what's your opinion on it. I'm thinking of trying it out.

I did my wheels last summer, about 1 can per wheel, 3-4 coats each. Didn't even take the wheels off the car. Still looks good a year later. Originally I did it to protect my wheels on a long road trip. Ended up leaving it on, no problems with pressure washes. I did snag an edge last week when I pulled one of the wheels and had to peel off the dip from the center of that wheel. I resprayed it, took about 30 min.

I'm talking about a whole vehicle though. I'm either thinking of plasti dip the whole vehicle or just get a cheap paint job at Macco.

The black on the wheels makes your car look more aggressive. It looks real nice.

My uncle got his car painted at maaco I think, paid like 400 and he is happy with the paint job. Just dont expect excellence, I mean it will almost cost you that much to plasti dip your car.
