Check out the area of Brooker Creek Blvd around the area of Race Track Road and Forest Lakes Blvd/Linebaugh. There's an industrial park that has a decent amount of space and stop signs for stop and go practice.

Thanks I'll have to check that out this weekend, never got a chance to do so last weekend.. That's actually not a bad drive from my house in T&C so works for me.

why does it have to be a "huge" space?
85% of driving a stick is starting from a stop. Doesn't take much space to practice that.
The best thing for me was to find a small hill and practice clutch engagement points and all that.
