1st - you did some weird double post within the same post thing.
2nd - unless you're asking in terms of general knowledge about what style/type/shape etc headers are better than another (which even then is a debatable issue considering different types accomplish different things) then you're in the wrong section.
I'm sure the VW guys in the VW section would be more than happy to lend some advice as to which is better.
3 - if you are looking for general input, then it would have been better to have pictures in the post of the different headers. Or at the very least, links to the exact headers you're talking about. Saves the rest of us from having to google them, and then guess at which ones you are talking about.
4 - my 2 cents, knowing nothing about VW's, just using my general knowledge, You might be more happy with the pacesetter ones. That brand seems to have a much better reputation. Lots of people use the OBX stuff, but you gotta remember, OBX is basically the generic knock off brand. IF you are looking for them to last a long time, then I would advise welding additional bracing. Perhaps cleaning up the existing welds. As for power, you would probably benefit from getting in there with a grinder, or at least a file and cleaning up the rough edges and burs on the inside. Looking down the ports, you'll see they aren't exactly super smooth, and from a performance stand point, the smoother, the better.
Beyond that, you're probably, more or less, going to be splitting hairs between the two. (unless they are designed differently, I honestly didn't look them up) If they are the same, then I personally would go for the cheaper one, clean up the welds, add bracing, clean up/smooth out the insides, hi temp coat, then heat wrap and be happy with them until they crack.
