I wonder how they got into the garage. We all know apartments use top notch high dollar building materials when constructing their buildings. But seriously, what was their point/method of entry to the garage. I'd like to know so that maybe I can reinforce my garage door a bit more to prevent something like that from happening to me.

A helpful tip to keep this from happening again: install a hidden/keyed fuel pump kill switch somewhere on the car. Tell no-one where it is located...not even your mom, dad or girlfriend. Loose lips sink ships. Of course, if someone really wants your car...they will take it. It never hurts to make them actually work for their stolen goods once and a while.

The key is to stay away from the normal means to disable a car (like ignition kill switches offered by most alarm companies). Odds are, the seasoned slimeball already knows about it and will only delay him by a few seconds. I plan on buying a removable steering wheel. Let's see if the scumbag can steer a non-powersteering equipped car without that wheel on there.

Sorry about the loss bro. they must have had some balls to just steal it just like that. . .Im shocked of the condition that they left it in :o Hope you find out more about it. . .some people are only alive because it is illegal to kill them and Im sure if you find who they are it would be an honor for you to do so.Good luck

At least its totalled out so you can get another car instead of getting back some basket case that you would have to patch back together.

that was stripped all the way down. Every time I come out to my car, I always wonder if my car is still there. I sure hope no one takes my baby!

Damn, now im starting to worry. There are some wierd mexican dudes around my apartment complex (no offence to mexican people on tr) who I always see with new cars in the parking lot, and their always taking shit out of em. Since ive gotten the new mustang, whenever I pull up, they all stare and point, and speak abounch of non-sense. I dont get my new alarm system put in until like 3 weeks either, I hope they dont decide to do anything... I will light their apartments on fire

I hear you there. I called the cops, but I don't know what happened after that. We left as soon as we saw them break into the car.

On another note, sorry to hear about your car. Mine took a walk about 8 months ago too, in Orlando. The car/parts were never found. Insurance helps, but it never totally replaces the loss of the car.
