Are Nology ignition wires any good? I was able to get a set real cheap. I was told they are the "new kind"

They are brand new, I payed only $60. Guy bought them for his n/a, but they came as wires for a turbo model, sold em for cheap, so I hopped on it.

A bunch of MR2 guys ran dyno tests on them...NOBODY saw any benefit, and 2 of them eventually had quality issues with them and went back to oem toyota pieces.

I personally have never used Nology HotWires and I dont know anyone who does... even if they add the supposive 2-3 horsepower... is 2-3 horsepower worth $150 for a new set of them? hell no... :o

The only way any set of wires will increase your horsepower is if your old ones are shot.

Quality solid core wires are the best assuming your electronics can handle the electromagnetic interferance they generate.

It amazes me how many people fall for bogus performance claims for automotive products. I wonder if splitfire plugs are still advertising that they can give you 10% more power.

That would not suprise me. I would never trust the quality of a product that uses deception as a marketing device.
