HOLLEY CARBS!!!!!!

I have a quick car and it would be quicker if I didn't have to adjust the darn Holley everytime I started it. Does anyone know a good way, besides ripping the thing off and using a carter/edelbrock or demon or FI, to get this thing to stay tuned? The screws keep coming loose on me. So it's leaning itself out. I'm tick!! GD Holley crap!!!

Ok I'm calm now, till I go start the car again.

thread lock (and im not talkin about the mods locking this down) just use a weak thread lock that will hold it where you need it to be but that you can break loose if you really want to (just use a TINY amount and you should be alright)

The Holley was reworked to 975cfm, is there supposed to be some type of a "seal" to help keep the needles in right? Like how the Edlebrocks have the spring on the adjusting screws??
I haven't owned a Holley that has worked right, yet.

I have not had to mess with a holley 4V in over a decade, but if I remember correctly there is a small o-ring that seals the idle mix adjust screw.

If it is missing that could explain its inability to stay put and/or correctly tune.

Finally I had time to play with the carb, found out what was wrong. The 2ndaries diaphram had a hole in it and they wouldn't open completely. Damn and I was beating ***'s on the primaries
