what year is your 930? one of my good friend's dad is rebuilding an '83 euro at his shop that only has 31k on it and it is pretty sweet. his only goal is to make it faster than his friend's which is an '87 (just got it) w/ upgraded turbo (k27) and upgraded intercooler along with some other goodies. just kind of curious what you have done to your car. i am looking to get a 911sc that needs some engine work and get him to rebuild it for me.

Its an 87 with a K27 turbo upgrade, K&N filter, hi flow muffler, and an andial boost/mix adjustment kit.

Unfortunately the mix adjuster is kaput so I'm currently driving around with stock boost and a really tired motor.

Its got over 125,000 miles, the valve guides are pretty shot and its leaking out over a quart of oil each month so I really need to rebuild it soon.

When I do I'm also changing to a higher ratio ring and pinion, hotter cams, a lot of head work and HKS electronic boost and mix controllers.

When all is done I am hoping for more than 400 HP at the back wheels and 12 second 1/4 mile times.

If you are going to get a 911 stick with a mid to late 80s model.

In my opinion they look the best and with the all the corrosion protection they put into those models the chassis can last a long time without rusting if you take good care of it.

didnt you just get that??
Yeah, I got my HKS controllers just a few months ago but I have not put them in yet.

They are just sitting around in a box until I have a chance to pull the motor and add new injector bosses to the manifold.

Yeah, it took a while to find what I wanted. Thanks to the power of e-bay I picked up $1300 worth of electronics for only $650 bucks from a reputable JDM salvager.

If anyone is looking for good used JDM electronics check with japandy on e-bay.
