I have an older version Clifford alarm on my car....put on by the previous owner. Today I unlocked my car with the remote, it worked, but not more than 5 sec. later I couldnt lock it. The little light thing on the rempote thing lights up so the battery still works. The alarm will only allow the drivers side door to lock when the alarm is activated. Can anyone help me???!!

 

I dont use Alarms.. if someone ever breaks into my car... I dont know...

 

It still could be the battery, i know on my remote once the batter is just about gone, the light will still light up, but it doesn't ahve enough power to transfer the signal to the car. I'd replace the battery. Try and put use the remote right over the hood so the signal doesn't have to go as far.
