Gosh Darn potholes, can the city be held accountable?
Hit a pretty nasty pothole on dale mabry, literally couldn't see it. Got some road rash from it, from a first glance I can't tell if the rim was bent but I was late from my lunch break so didn't have time to look extensively. Anyways is there anything I can do to get money from the City to fix it? I have stock wheels with stock ride height.

Thanks for the info. Just out of curiosity does the inspector inspect the pothole or the wheel? And if just the wheel how do they know it came from a pothole?

When this happened to me when I had my Lightning, I called the city of st pete. after doing the phone shuffle, I got to the right department. I gave location of pothole, told them I had pictures. A rep called me 2 days later, met them at municipal bldg, took pics of the wheel and told me to have estimate of repairs (wheel repair, tire replacement, wheel balance, front end alignment) and forward him. I did and within a week, I had a check.....
