20k to spend on a car - suggestions..?
Hey guys, I haven't posted on TR for quite awhile. I'm currently looking at purchasing another car, something around $20,000 or less. I currently drive a 2005 Acura TL and could not be more bored.
Potentials: 335i Sedan, Evo VIII, STi, IS 350, 545i, 550i, G37, E46 M3
'07 335i - High mileage for the price I can afford, first model BMW has used a turbo in the last 20 years.
Evo VIII - I'm 23 this year, losing interest in such plain tuners
STi - Same as the Evo VIII
IS-350 - It's a Lexus and their interior is terrible.
545i - High mileage, 5.5 0-60; same as the Acura TL
550i - Very difficult to find for the price I'm searching for.
G37 - I test drove a 370z and a G35, I wasn't too impressed with either. I'm assuming the same situation for the G37.
e46 M3 - It's an M3, quite expensive to maintain
Suggestions...?

hell u could get a Trailblazer n roast a lot of cars in a SUV LOL But come on this is tampa racing who wants a SUV... If not than a 335i. Ive driven a few and the ride is great and of course. I hate nice cars getting riced out just my 2cents.

I drive a lexus is 250, I love it power is decent and very good on gas. But if I had a choice I would buy a gs450 or gs300/350 I love the bmw 5 series and ive always wanted one. But if you want one to last without issues stick to the 6cyl, the v8 have a lot of oil leak issues, and transmission failures.
3 Series are good and reliable! Evo never had, I have owned a WRX non sti but those things require a lot of maintance. With lexus or Infinity you will have a realiable car that will hold it's resale.

I could name hundreds of cars you can afford for 20k, is there anything in particular you are looking for? You said you were bored but then listed a 545i, which is a boring ass car.
