1969 Camaro SS pics!
my dads boy has a 67 ss with a 454 in my garage now!!
project car so it looks like shit, but the motor is brand new.
on stock tires you cant even drive the thing, they just spin and smoke ALOT. my dad said stock 454 with traction should be 11's or 10s
and also said the motor weighed like 1200lbs. wholy shit!

Its a 1975 Toyota Celica GT. It usually always baffles a few people whenever I post the pic.
It performed quite nicely thanks to its many mods.

Thats a sweet looking car and one of my favs too.
Since a vehicle like that was out of my reach when I was a kid I souped up an import copycat.

That looks like something that might make a nice litter box for a cat, but not even close to the original.

Maybe if you read you'd realize that ss' were fast as shit stock, not just some of them.

well, it was my understanding that some ran high 14's from the factory, while others ran mid to high 13's.
the difference was in the size of the motor...while some had big blocks others had small blocks.
in 1968 there were two versions of the 327 offered. one with 210 horsepower and 320 torque and another with 255, 375.
now obviously, there is a big difference in power between these two motors, and considering that this guys car has some other modifications its reasonable to ask what kind of times this guys car ran.
so before you instantly criticize a post, i think you should be the one who does some research.
and as far as reading real books, i'll have a degree in sociology and computer science in less than a year...what type of education do you have?

The infinitely wise socialogist decides that has some impact on his understanding of automotive historia??
My previous gauge of you as an idiot was completely underated. Bringing ones education into this argument raises you to iq of roughly 42 in my book. Since you are so dead set on proving your penis size, a masters in mechanical engineering surely has no bearing on ones ability of automotive technology past, present, and future.
Besides, this is a 69 camaro ss, in which an english or rather a reading comprehension specific degree would benefit you more than your sociology rag of a degree.
And btw in 69, the ss could have a range of engines from a 350 small block to a 396 big block with "rated" hps from 300 to 375.
