Default Anyone dealt with hail damage?

Last month my Mazda got pummeled with hail and I finally got around to making an insurance claim on it this week. The adjuster came out today for a damage estimate and it came out to $3,813.00, should all be paintless dent removal. I went to a mobile hail damage trailer (we had a huge storm up here, they're everywhere) and they told me just to make the check out to them and they'll cover my deductible but I'm skeptical since they didn't even ask me how much my insurance company estimated. Any of you guys had experience with these places? I'd like to just get the check minus my $500.00 deductible but I have a lien on my car still so I don't think that's a possibility unless any of you have insight on this situation, I can live with the damage.

I can't imagine almost 4k in labor for dent removal. How many spots do you think there are?

^ Ever had your car in a hail storm? I've seen cars get totaled out because of hail.

Yes, I got about 8 spots on my FD. Cost me about $175.They total them out if they cant be fixed, or the car is not worth much.

The adjuster estimated 150 dents on the roof alone, not to mention the hood, doors, and quarter panels. I got lucky because alot of people on base had their cars totaled because the hail has been so bad this year.

FL gets hail storms, but not enough to cause a car to total out. MOSI IIRC use to have a car on display from a hail storm that was totaled out by an insurance company. It didn't even look bad at all.
