Just that, nothing else. Not an intercooler, so spare the bullshit. If you dont know the answer to the question, dont post some ignorant unrelated bullshit.

I am going off the assumption of FoxHondaRider and had hope for the same thing(question is in reference to an intercooler)....If you like it do it..bottom line its illegal but prob wont get messed with unless your driving like an idiot, CASE CLOSED K THANKS BYE.

wrong. again.

You dont need a bumper cover.. you need something to absorb initial impact that is part of the frame that can be anything from the stock bumper (not just the bumper cover) to a refrigerator door welded to your frame.

i am referint to what the post is talking about (bumper) there is a bumper and a bumper cover on most newer cars. no you do not need a cover, yes you need some sort of bumper for 5mph....but yes a refigerator door or a large plank (which i have just seen today) will work

The best solution "to avoid being noticed" is to have a stock
cover in place. I have carved a few bumper covers for people so
they fit around their mods.

What's needed to be strictly legal is going to be discussed by lawyers,
but generally, if it "looks right" to the cops, the cops won't bother you.
If you keep plenty of following distance, then you won't crash. If you
don't crash, probably no one will notice or care.

Some trucks have a piece of pipe for a bumper. One of my former autocross
cars had a piece of aluminum tubing that was a "bumper". Plenty of rods and
customs have a push bar and/or a "custom" bumper. -Bob
