WOW! I was just watching the accelerometer for most of the lap and some of the G's that thing pulled was insane. I saw 1.5g's enough that I think it could actually take a sustained turn at it, and on the carousel it blipped past 2.0 for a millisecond. Blips don't mean a whole lot since I'm not sure if they had smoothing turned on or not or what data acquisition unit they used, but still. FUCK. He was definitely going easy on the brakes for most of the lap too, if you watch there is one point where he mashed them and hit's a deceleration of 1.5g's and the rest of the lap it's at 1.1g's, so the brakes could use some work, probably just heat issues.

For comparison my s2000 on good tires has done 1.1g's braking, and 1.1g's in a turn, my friend who has wider front tires has done 1.3g's in a turn. So 1.5+ is absolutely sick! It sucks that those tires don't come in my size.

 

So far so good. No Turbo.

That was wicked. Lets see what the GTR does now. I play too much damn Forza. I knew every turn before it came up. lol.

 

The 08 Viper ran it in 7:22 and the driver missed two shifts and bounced off the rev limiter on the straights. Viper isn't sweating anything Chevy has.
