Went to a german "Bergrennen" (hillclimb) yesterday to see some shitty european race cars with high reving engines


No, that Superveloce didn't arrive with us (we only came with the Z06, the Impreza, 328 Coupe and my BMW)

but yes, thats Walther Röhrl's original Pikes Peak record Audi S1

yes, that Judd Racing BMW 1 series has a huge super high reving V8 and stickers instead of frontlights and one of the Formula cars is running with a Mugen engine lol

Sweet, nice to see some different type of autosport on tr for once. Those german's sure have some crazy modifying taste

 

some of the cars were from the Czech Republic, Italy, France, Luxembourg etc

all purpose build or purpose modified like the old Formula 1 cars.

and the NSU cars (boxy looking things with the oil coolers hanging out on the front) have rotary engines in the back and drive with the hood open all the time because of the thermal problems their engines have......classic hillclimb cars xD


JFYI tomorrow I'll be at the Nürburgring so expect some more videos and pictures....and next week is another hillclimb just a few miles away from where I live with cars participating that date back to 1901
