My friend's '96 Honda Accord is having issues. Its an automatic, and it seems to be slipping. It hesistates going into gears and the transmission seems to make a whine noise. The fluid level is fine and looks okay. It doesn't appear to leak any fluis either. The car has 108K miles on it.
Any idea what this problem could be? She is broke and may be in need of a good transmission shop...if you know a place that won't rip her off...please post it. Thanks in advance.
