Default Lincoln Continental vs. Ford Crown Victoria

hello.
Im looking into getting a pimp ride and Im comparing two pimp-mobiles right now.

But I do not know much about the reliablity of the engines in these two domestics. I was wondering what everyone's opinion is on these two cars, and which one would probably be more reliable.

Both are price about the same, and have all the same features and amenities. So the only factor right now is the reliablity of the motors in them.

Im assuming the motors are similar.
Oh yeah...the continental has the 3.8L V-6 (155hp) and the Crown Vic has a 4.6L V-8 (210hp I believe).

(Kinda funny how the 3.8L V-6 puts out a measly 155hp...my old 1.6L I-4 farted out five more hp! ...yeah yeah...i know...no torque in the 1.6 though . )

You could get a Continental with a V8 too. They are pretty quick.

for a pimp ride...id go with an SS Impala or if you have no budget, a new Lincoln LS.

If you have no budget, check out the new Marauder. It's got aftermarket guages and struts and such....

I cant really afford a Impala...I like em, but I cant find one in my price range. Im looking to spend 5k tops.

Ive been looking around and found some nice Chevy Caprice's and newer Crown Vics (94-97).

Any opinions on these specific models?

Yeah, Get at an Ex Police Caprice. It has the LT1 and you can make it look like an Impala. (Same damn car)
