The deal didnt fall threw
I posted a little while ago that this guy was selling a white 92 CX hatch and i ask you guys if 3000$ sounded about right with 120K miles on it well today i went to see in the day light and thanks for the advice guys because the fenders up front didnt align at all! and then we turned it on and he would step on the gas and man that car was smoking a blunt threw its muffler..... so much smoke came out from the back that i thought i was gonna die then i took a real good look at the valve cover right under it there was so much oil deposits and at that when i checked the oil it was needing at least another quart to two so when he came to me i said heres my offer i'll give you two grand for it and he told me "well your gonna put a swap in it anyway right?" well i replied with " I still have to ride on this engine for awhile and i dont want it leaving me anywhere and i'll give 2000$ right now" then i proceeded to my car and told him i'll call you back in a week and see if you still have it! then i'll take it for 1800$ lol but what do you guys think did i do the right thing?
i feel kinda depressed about it though i really wanted it!but oh well

in my car buying experiences if the deal at the time is not going good and you have any doubts what's so ever walk away. you can always trust your instinct but don't be encourged by talkative salemans. a good deal will come sooner or later
