What's the difference between Vortec and VTEC? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, but I should've been more specific. What's the difference between Vortech (the Chevy Vortec in V8 trucks and such) and VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control in Hondas)? Thanks.
