I am trying to decide on getting a 2004 srt-4 with 51,000 miles or getting a 95 240sx kouki that has a sr20det redtop in it with a bunch of mods and he says the body has 160,000 miles and engine has 45,000 miles on it and was just rebuilt. I will be using the car for my DD (i drive probly 4 miles a day) and driving around on the weekends. Help?

I have driven trucks all my life and now i want to get into the car scene. I like the look of a 240 alot more than a srt-4 .

And i have never owned a car so i was seeing what you guys thought, no need to flame

 

Test drive them and see which one you like.

Seems pretty easy solution to me, if the seller doesnt let you test drive it fuck him and find a better car.

Honestly, it's up to you. Do you want someone's beat up piece of shit 240 or someone's beat up piece of shit SRT. One's FWD the other is RWD. If you go test drive the cars, test drive the SRT and shift down and up into 3rd a BUNCH of times. If it doesn't grind/pop out of gear, then that's a good sign. What color? Mods? Sunroof, viper inspired seats? All these things matter.

 

srt4 even though the s14 has all this done to it, the back and front on those cars are so ugly, but the kouki are nice.

well i had a 240 then sold it got an srt thinking it was cool and to be honest that was the stupidest thing i ever did in my life. if i was u i would go with the 240 hands down. also its a full rwd nissan not a stupid fwd Chrysler with bits of parts Mitsubishi dont want anymore!
