Im turning 18 next month and i was given two very tempting decisions on getting a car, oh and i'm still going to be paying for the insurance on the car too. My Dad who i dont live with, said that he would buy me a car with a $4500 price limit for my birthday and i could pick it out, but my parents said i can't get a coupe because of the insurance. My grandmother on the other hand said that if I wait until i graduate(in may) that she would give me $20,000 as long as i spend it on a Lexus. Everyone in my family drives a lexus so my grandma is like in love with them cause shes had hers for so long. I have considered both options, and i am still struck between the two options. I was looking at a 2010 lexus is 250, i found one already that only had like 45000 miles on it i think. As for my dads offer, i was thinking about a good ol' civic, but i have no idea.
