Default Trustworthy alignments in the area for lowered cars..

Sears did my car a while back and didn't know how to center the steering wheel, also left some nice gashes on my old wheels. They said they'd center it back up for free but I don't trust them with my car.

On S&R's shop section it said 4 wheel alignments starting at $50. I went there to see and the guy said the normal price is 130 but since we'll just adjust the toe he'll do it for $100. Kinda insulted me tbh, I wonder what the $50 will get you? A visual inspection? 100 bucks to put it on the rack, compensate some sensors then loosen two bolts and turn the tie rods a small amount seems ridiculous to me.

Any reputable shops in the area that can handle a lowered car, take care of it, and not try to rape me without lube? Thanks

I have never had a single problem with sears in brandon. I used to tell them what I wanted it set at also and they did a good job..

I've taken at least 6 different cars there, multiple times without one issue.

vortex and cars and concepts specialize in that, but they arent cheap either. Both are like $80 an hour.

Isn't flat rate on front toe adjustment .8?

Screw it, I might just mark up everything really good so I can turn them both in the same direction a quarter turn. It's barely off center. If I were a shop I'd love to make a quick 50 bucks cash for 25mins worth of work.

I worked at a shop before. My cousins. If you were a shop $50 is not a lot. You have employees working on the car, tying up a rack, and using tools and all when something else could be in that spot. If you aren't worried that much about money pay the $100 bucks then. $100 is peanuts to get your car back in working order versus $1000 bucks to fix the suspension later on. If sears said they would fix it for free then go back to Sears. It wasn't sears that messed up your car it was some jackass that didn't know what he was doing. You car is lowered too. When I had a lowered civic dropped on it's nuts It was hard to find anyone to work on the suspension. It's a risk we take for the things we want. No offense to you.

my suspension isn't going to cost me $1000 because the steering wheel is millimeters off, are you kidding me?

I've worked at a few top end shops, and almost every performance shop I've been to has an alignment rack with a project car just sitting on it.

100 dollars isn't much to me, getting ripped off is huge to me. Don't advertise something for 50 and then tell me 100. That's an insult.

Thanks for your .02
