Default Tire Stretching need location

I need to get one tire 225-40-18 stretched on my 18x10 rim, i live in zephyrhills but no one out here knows what i'm talking about because everyone drives pickup trucks out here. Had one guy tell me it was impossible even though i told him i have 3 stretched already...

Does anyone know of any good places in either tampa or brandon?

thanks in advance!

a lot of places won't stretch a tire on like that. between running the risk of hurting the tech, or hurting the machine, and then the liability of you suing them for putting the wrong size tire on.
Mix in the red neck part and you're pretty much fucked when it comes to getting those tires on.
You could always do the lighter fluid trick you see on YouTube. Lots of people do it that way.

I live out here too, nobody is going to stretch a tire. What about Sam the Hubcap Man on Busch? That's right in the hood, they probably do it and his prices are decent.

Try grimes tire in dade city....used to work for them, they rarely ever turn a tire job away...even when it's something as ridiculous as cutting a solid gel poured tire off a bobcat wheel...if you see a kinda tall dude named robby in there...ask him if they can do it...almost positive they can...the seat is the hard part and they have a nifty air blaster tank they use on stubborn semi and tractor tires. You'll find grimes just off of 301 heading north past taylor rental and citrus chrysler

I'll post pics in the am of a Michellin Pilot PS2 zp stretched on the 18x10. Front are 18x9 stretched , i'll probably move my Michellin Pilot PS2 ZP to the front and put Sumitomo HTR zIII in the back... Had these before and lasted me 2 years on the back so i like that setup.
