DTM guys(satan).. take a bow.. OWNED!
As long as we are on the subject I think its all fine and dandy when someone works hard enough at an honest and ethical job to earn enough money to buy the toys they want.
When someone just mooches off their parents or other 'family' for toys that most working people can't afford, thats pretty lame.
As much as I may be tempted to spoil my own child, the most she will get from me until she can make her own money are the basics (i.e. clothes, tv, radio, ~$2500 beater automobile).

Since I do not know about you or your brother's circumstances I can not say if this statement applies to either of you.
I know a lot of people have accused you of pissing away money but I have never bothered to inquire about where you get it all.
I would imagine that if your S4 is on a 5 year payment plan it would set you back about $1K a month after insurance and that is a lot of money for a college student. Perhaps you have some great part time job I don't know about but I would have to assume that its your parents paying for your very nice automobile.
I know you are a nice guy and all so if your parents are giving you a vehicle like that its more of a statement about them and not you.
How many kids would refuse a nice $40K+ vehicle if their parents tried to give them one anyways.

The only way it would be aimed at you is if your parents or other family members are buying you very expensive automobiles and/or other goodies.

I can pretend I am 16 even.I didn't turn down my first car either, a beautiful cream colored (
) 1987 Bronco II. It wasn't that old in 1992, but it wasn't what I wanted. Even if it wasn't that BMW, Merc, Audi or whatever the rich brats at my highschool had, I still took it, appreciated it and drove it. Trust me, anything is better than walking. I had to laugh at the kids whose parents blew enormous amounts of money on their cars only to have them wreck them soon after purchase. Plant HS parking lot after school was often like if Reeves Import Motorcars held a demolition derby using their finest cars on their lot. 3 & 5 series Bimmers running into one another...oh...it was grand!

Uh oh, this must be a more sensitive subject for you than I realized . . .
There is nothing wrong with being spoiled as long as you don't let it effect your work ethic or value judgements.
