im looking to buy either a dodge stealth or dodge avenger whats everyones thoughts on the pros/cons of these cars n what are tha 1/4 times?

 

If you gonna buy anyone of these cars you need to see what mods you can do and what parts you can get..dont depend on 1/4 times..just cause someone pulled maybe a 14 on a stock car..you may pull high 14s cause of your driving ...

Stay away from the Avenger and go with the Stealth/3000GT twin turbo.

 

a stealth/3000gt are prett good cars ive owned a few there not bad actually the n/a cars get along pretty good, beware the tranny both manual and auto have major problems and cost a ton to fix, as well as any other part on those cars but if u find a good one u should be alright but have it checked, the 5 speed is faster but has more problems then the auto, the motor if well taken care of are very reliable , i got one with 200k on it and it ran great (tranny sucked but) as for the avenger its a mitsubishi eclipse in dodge clothing not a bad car although heavy but both vehicles are very heavy for there size2 engine choices in the avenger, the .0 dohc and the 2.5 24valve v-6 both pretty good motors but alot of peopel are taking the 2.0 and adding the eclipse turbo kits to them and they are really going, the v-6 will also scoot , one good thing is there based on an eclipse platform any part or piece you buy for the motor, brakes anthing is an eclipse part which makes for a huge aftermarket and availability for them at decent prices, my g/f has a 95 avnger for sale for 6 g's but its an auto v-6? any other ? just ask man i ve messed with dozens of each car
