I'm not one to bitch and moan about tickets, I like to think the system works, but if I can get out of it, I will.
"Knowing exactly how to get out of it" is why people hate lawyers so much, until they need one to bend the laws in their favor. If you only make $11 an hour and you can't afford a speeding ticket, then don't speed! If you plow into the back of somebody that was going the speed limit, are you going to tell them, "Sorry, I can't afford to pay for insurance or a ticket or repairs, so good luck!" before fleeing the scene? Based on your disregard for the law, I'd guess you probably would, since 1/4 of Florida drivers do just that.

If you make a $11/hr don't speed?? So I'm assuming it's okay to speed if you make $20/hr ?? There is nothing wrong with trying to get out of a ticket. No1 is perfect. We all break the law somehow. Weather it's speeding, taking a pen from work, Turning left on a red, Doing a U turn in a no U turn zone, Going 1 mile an hour over the speed limit, downloading music, movies, video games.... We all do it. No1 is perfect. Getting out of a ticket doesn't make you a criminal. To say you never do/did anything wrong is rubbish.

^LMAO, nice ;D
Honestly...the state of florida should start charging state taxes and get off the permanant residents nuts. This state makes money from it's court system as a subsidy to their income in light of the fact that theres no state tax (not talking about sales tax so dont go there). If I could find a way to screw with the state I'd do it just to pee in their wheaties...so sick of getting pulled over for BS like window tint, accessory light colors, etc. just because they need to buy some dyslexic kid in public a textbook he cant read anyways. I fight every ticket I get...period...even if I know I'm dead wrong...and honestly...I've never "really" lost yet....the most I've had to pay is 3 dollars. So stick it to em...if you know how to get by with it do it...just make sure if you're going to be running stop signs in residential and commercial zones to keep alert and avoid accidents...no excuse for not being a safe driver...being a dick is fine though lol.

Thanks for the help! Now, instead of stopping at the stop sign, I can stop at the stop sign, get out of my car, check for the DOT sticker, and if there isn't one, have the satisfaction of knowing that I didn't have to stop.

Normal people I totally agree. But this is like saying a real psychic shouldn't win the lottery.

I like knowing my legal rights. I speed, use stop signs as "yield" signs, change lanes without signaling, and even occasionally run the late night dead intersection red light. Amazingly in all this lawless chaos, Ive not managed to hit a child, car, or cause any accident, but theres always the chance some bozo cop is gonna write me a revenue ticket. So thanks for the post

I actually caught myself looking for the stickers on the backs of the stop signs in my subdivision when I came back from filling my wifes truck up with gas this morning...much to my dismay...they were there /sad panda face

They're on any road that you'd see on google maps. Its basically just parking lots and places like that where the property owners have to buy the stop signs, because the city doesn't recognize their roads.

Fun times isn't it? LOL. Well except when I had to work in the ghetto.

I looked at my community and there are no stickers in the back and most are half the height.

The one to the main road has one.

Not that I run stop signs at all but do the NY stop and go lol, I'd like to see if this holds up in court.

Is this kind of like not getting tickets on private property?
