i had the same problem, it seems if u bump the throttle a bit when u take off instead of 1 solid motion it takes off easier.

especially with the new clutch in my hatch, its rllyy stiff and is pretty tricky still.

and yea practice my dude, practice usually makes perfect

Buy a 2013. The government has mandated every car have traction control of which launch will be a byproduct. So it won't require any skill at all, any moron can pretend to be Mario Andretti without ever actually developing any talent. Maybe get one with those sissy paddles too.

Sports cars are dead. Thank you Uncle Sam. :

Less throttle and slower clutch disengagement.

Go into an empty parking lot and practice.... practice.. and more practice. Every car is different, get a feel for the clutch engagement point and "feather" it with the throttle.

If you "peel off" every time, then you're giving it too much gas. Give it less, and ease into it.

a good way to learn when your clutch starts to engage is to sit in a parking lot, put in first, and SLOWLY let out the clutch pedal. once you feel the car start to inch forward or bog down, then you know when your clutch starts to engage. at that point start to give it some gas. keep practicing this and youll get a "feel for your pedal" in no time. try feathering the accelerator pedal as well. the trick is knowing when your clutch starts to engage, before long youll find the sweet spot.

Take your foot off the clutch slower.
