Help with engine choice
I have a 2000 Galant and I want to put a nice motor in it, but I don't really know much about imports, con someone give me some suggestions? My main goal is to have about 500hp. Thanks for your help.

10,000 worth of parts, 7,000 worth of labor, tons of personal time and headache, you might as well buy a new car or get a bike -- that'd be way faster than a galant.

Just save your money for a car you can tastefully modify. Use this as your DD for now. You don't need to modify it. If you want to be a retard put some 20's on it, a huge ass spoiler wing, and a fart can muffler then go brag to the world that you are part of the mile high club.

don't give him any hope.
He will end up buying crap parts and just ricing out another galant. which i'm not sure if they look equal to or worse than standard ricey cars.
