Default The process of Neo Chroming

Pretty nifty huh?

I wanted to know how the process was done, so I started looking, and it seems nobody really knows a lot of how its done. I am posting this here to gather new info for the betterment of the interwebz.

I know that the process hardens the metal. I know that it is NOT the same as the burnt titanium process. I know that there is a way to replicate it, using chameleon paint, and instead of using a solid base coat, you use a chrome coat, but its not exactly the same.

I know that its sick and I would love an entire set of wheels done up.

Please add any more info you may have.

Thats called aurora coating, at least in paintball. Pretty sure its a powder coating type of process with electricity and what-not.

That could look pretty sick on some wheels.

I think that would look bad ass on some wheels with the centers polished and the lip in that burnt titanium look. Ive seen it before, but it would be cool to do to you own wheels.

Sorry I got it confused with anodizing. lol. I think they bond titanium to the metal with electricity.
