What are your thoughts on the new Buick Regal GS? Apparently it is going to be a turbo I4 2.0 ecotec making 260hp and 295ft lbs. it will be available in manual or auto and be equipped with awd.

 

personally, I like it but it is bitter sweet. the car in and of itself is a very good design but I would like to down the road see a Grand National version. In Europe this is an opel and it has a turbo V6. If they stuck that turbo v6 in it here than boom, you have got a GN 2.0.

 

Is this RWD or FWD?

A Ford Escape comes in AWD but its' a FWD based system, guess my question should have been what platform is the AWD absed off of.

Their websites says it's just a concept. But I would be it's like most fwd based awd systems and sucks.

 

they are calling it a concept but it is exactly like the opel. aside from the engine setup. it was already green lit for 2011. tbh i dont like the awd idea. I would prefer it be rwd like the regals pre-1988.

 

AWD >> RWD, even if its the front wheel bias type as long as it can redirect enough torque to the rear wheels when it needs to.

 

looks nice but its still a buick....unless things have changed ill pass....but i think it looks tits lol.
