I was just wondering if anyone knows any info on PTEC or has been to PTEC. I looking for someway to get any certifications in the auto mechanic field. Let me know if it was a big waste to time or if you actually is usefull.

If you just want to get certifed just by the ASE testing/studie book and read the hell out of it. I go to ptec you dont get any just for doing the class.

I'm a believer that getting the required experience on your own via your own projects or apprenticeship is the best way to learn, but if you don't have that route easily available to you then someplace like PTEC or similar community college program would be your second best bet.
