saw a convertible at Brandon Ford. MSRP 38k.....+ 10k for adjusted market value :o = 48k + ttt.
sorry but there is just no way that i would ever pay 10k over sticker for a car. that would just piss me off way too much. it was a pretty sweet car, though.

I looked at a Lightning there when they first came out and they would barely give me the time of day and when they did I questioned them on there "market adjustment" which at the time was almost $10K and they said that was it take it or leave it and it would be sold quicky even at that price.
The funny part was when I went back a month or so later the same Lightning was still sitting on the floor but with no market adjustment ? So I found the same salesman that blew me off before and asked him WTF ? He did not know what to say when I reminded him of our previous conversation and he proceeded to walk away the first time I turned my back.

the 03 mustangs are going for $35k ... need to check your math there......... anyway, it's the best bang for the buck new car out....... running mid to high 12's driver dependant bone stock. nothing around that can touch it in stock trim. Not in that price range anyway.

The most I have heard on the mark up on the new verts is 4k......even with that the cobra is still a steal. PHP just tested one and it ran 11.98, granted he is one of the best modular drivers around but still that is moving.

I'm no ford nut, but that has to be one of the best bangs for the bucks available nowadays.
Seeing how well Leonard's older cobra has performed at the auto-xes has given me a greater appreciation for their suspensions too.
