Car Accidents *WW*
Since this is a driving forum, everyone seems to act like they are the best drivers on the road. Well, I want this thread to be a wake up call, that this can happen at any time, anywhere, and you should be in control of your vehicle at all times. Nobody is invincible, and the last thing anyone wants to see is a new RIP banner at the top of the site.

I'll have to get some of the pic from my wreck.
Got rear ended by a drunk driver. We were doing 35-40. Police estimate his speed between 80 and 100. He hit us so hard it spun the car around. I did what I could to recover, but quickly realized that the only thing I could do was direct us away from the tree and do whatever I could to protect my 8 month old daughter in the back seat. We came within a foot of hitting the tree. we nailed a fire hydrant which caused the car to roll over two complete times. The roof of the car was crushed all the way down to the tops of the seats. If it wasn't for both me and my fiance sitting so upright, we would have been crushed. My daughter's car seat saved her life. The three of us spent the night in the hospital. I didn't think I was invincible before, but that wreck made me realize just how fragile it all really is. One detail different. One MPH faster. One foot closer and we would have died. There's nothing like realizing there is nothing you can do to protect the people you love the most to bring you down a few notches.

Lets not forget the drunk guy that drove his mitsu off the I-375 exit sweeper @ about 90 and landed on the walkways and barriers for the SPGP in the city storage yard below . . .
