just bought a car in Florida the dash vin is different from the title? the title matches the door vin and firewall vin stamp. does anyone no if this is going to be a problem to inspect in another state?

the car was registered to the previous owner title is in his name so i dont think its stolen???? i just noticed after i got the car that the dash vin was different. anyone done this before??? is this a problem

If It already has a florida title they wont "inspect" the car.

This is simple, contact NY DMV. New York has state inspections and they may require all visible vin's to match.

 

They dont check this shit

 

so i should be ok i can get a inspection sticker for the shops i go to back in the in new york other then that the diffrent dash is not a big deal????
